Tuesday March 16th

Snowball members who want to participate in the “Sticker Shock Campaign” on Thursday, April 8^th after school should sign up in the library. 

Post Prom permission slips can be picked up in the office.  Everyone attending post prom will need to have a form signed and turned in. 

Prom “Guest” permission slips are in the office.  If you are bringing a date to prom who is not a student at Havana High School, you will need to fill out one of these forms and return it to the office. 

Any girl interested in trying out for the flag squad should check the posters in the hallway.  The 1^st workshop is Wednesday at 5:30 in the high school gym. 

Anyone interested in working at Chautauqua this summer needs to see Mr. Wherley for an application.  Limited jobs are available. 

Scholastic bowl Members:  Please return your CLEAN scholastic bowl shirt to either Mrs. Ramsey or Mrs. Kachanuk.  Don’t just lay them on the desk make sure we get your name crossed off.  All those members who have their shirts turned in are invited to a pizza party Thursday, March 18^th right after school in Mrs. Ramsey’s room. 

Attention Seniors:  Jostens will be here Friday, March 19 during the lunch hour to deliver caps and gowns, and announcements.  The rest of your balance is due at that time. 

Monday March 15th

Track practice will be right after school today. 

Play practice for tonight has been cancelled. 

All Science Club members participating in Envirothon need to see Mrs. Bogner sometime today to pick up a permission slip.

A reminder that sports pictures will be taken today.  Order forms and money will be due when your picture is taken.  There will be no late orders.  They will start with baseball at 2:30, followed by track, and then softball.  If you need a picture order form, pick one up in the office or room 60. 

Thursday March 11th

Any junior who would like to help out with the Talent Show should be at the gym Friday night for the rehearsal.  The Post Prom parents need your help. 

Wednesday March 10th

Varsity Baseball practice will be out at the field today.  Players should meet in the dugout, not the batting cage.

Any senior planning to attend Spoon River College needs to see Mr. Wherley to fill out an important form this week.  

There will be a meeting today after school in the cafeteria for any girl trying out for cheerleading.  Those with athletic practice should stop in long enough to pick up an information packet.
