Information Regarding:
Pick up/drop off
-
UPDATED
Dear Parents,
As many of
you know already, New Central is
changing the procedures for
student drop off and pick up.
Effective immediately,
parents are no longer allowed in
the building to pick up or drop
off their students.
The doors have recently
been numbered and posted with
signs.
Only the doors in the
front (W-2) will be manned in
the morning to assist kids and
allow them entrance.
This is the only door
accessible for entrance.
During dismissal time
P-K, Kindergarten (W-2), and 1st
grade (W-1) students will be
escorted out of the building for
pick up.
2nd, 3rd,
and 4th grade
students will be dismissed as
usual.
If you are visiting the
building for any reason during
the day, please “buzz” in at the
office and you will be issued a
visitor’s pass that you may
return as you sign out.
I know that some safety
issues are uncontrollable, but
some things are in our control.
My main objective is to
keep the 445 students and 70
staff members in this building
as safe as possible.
Thank You,
Mr. Dunker, Principal
New Central Elementary School
